Chase smiled at Tulios words.
"That is very considerate of you," Chase responded. "Looks like you haven't changed as much as one usually does since we last met."
Chase had reached a point in his cooking where all he was waiting for was the water for the soup to get hot enough to start adding ingredients.

Tulio's face became down in a small frown as he thought over Chase's words.
"I don't know if you'll like all the changes I've gone through, Chase. Sometimes I think I'm more human than fairy now, both in good and bad ways."
Tulio walked over to where Chase was preparing the food. He looked into the pot and gave a small sniff at the contents.
"I just hope you're cooking skills have changed too since we last met."

"Relax, Tulio," Chase assured his fellow fairy. "My cooking has only improved since we last met. Along with skills and knowledge in fighting. The only thing I haven't improved on is my understanding of human nature. Then, again, I don't think I ever will."
Chase had finished adding the first set of ingredients and began simply stirring the pot. It was already smelling good.

Tulio shot Chase a half-cocked smile.
"Yes, you still don't know how to take a joke though. So you're still involved with the various fighting arts. Why doesn't that surprise me."
At talking of fighting, Tulio took out his dagger and casually twirled it intricately from hand to hand before resheathing it.
"I settled for focusing on only a few styles but to each their own. Just like a settled for living more like a human.............I still don't get why you and the other fairies can't understand humans. It's always come second-nature to me."
