Hogarth ran. Was it for food? Was it for shelter? Was it to get as far as possible from all the monsters that prowled these woods? Yes, yes, and yes.
Hogarth was unsure of how long it had been since he had been sent here. The bring light of teleportation got him confused and then running into a branch when the wolf-thing attacked didn't help either. In fact, ever since the wolf incident, he's been running for a fourth reason: to stay away from others so he wouldn't hurt them.
But food took top priority for him.
Hogarth cursed the fact that he didn't know what food was good for him and what wasn't. But then, in this world, he didn't know anything...
He needed help.

Astrid was flying on the forest, she had caught strange movements through the trees from the tower and now she wanted to know what exactly was! Seemed like something was running, maybe a wolf, but she could sniff a strange odor that was something new. She decided to land in a free place and the turned into human, it was better when she walked in the forest if she didn't have to bring destruction and stuffs!

Hogarth could feel his werewolf side of him almost sting. He looked up and saw that the moon was close to full, but he wasn't sure of if it was waning or waxing through the branches.
Either way, he began to smell something. Flesh, like that of a human, but there was something about it that was off. He wondered what it could be.
"Wait," he whispered in confusion as he paused, "...how did I figure out all that?"
Then he remembered. He was now a werewolf. Cursed werewolf side...
At least it was helpful in finding someone that could help him. He can't hurt anyone right now...

Astrid watched around to see if she could notice something interesting, but seemed that the forest was too much knotty to see something through those trees!
"Geez!" she shouted as she started to walk towards the smell she sniffed before. The forest was huge and if she wanted to get back home early she had to move on!
She stopped when she finally saw a shadow in the distance "Hey!" she shouted "Who are you?!" maybe it was just an animal of the forest but her dragon's sense told her different!

Hogarth turned to the direction of the voice. It sounded almost innocent...almost...
Still, it's someone.
"I-I'm-I'm Hogarth," he stuttered. "I'm a little lost. I've never been here before."

"A little lost?!" she shouted back at him, how could he be a little lost?! Everybody knew that this forest belonged to Shadows! She paused a second, who was this Hogarth to not know this?
"Ok Hogarth!" she turned again at him "I'm Astrid! Come here so we can talk!" she started to walk slowly towards him, she didn't want to scare him.

"It's not my fault I'm lost," Hogarth quickly rebutted. "There was a bright flash of light and I found myself here!"
Maybe I shouldn't have said that, he realized. I don't think I'm on Earth anymore, so I can't just tell a life story here. I mean, pay attention, Hogarth...

"A flash of light?" she whispered as soon as she could clearly see the boy who she was speaking to. It was just an average boy, nothing special except his odor that was really odd! How did he come here? Maybe she should bring him at Thrax or keep him as her 'pet', she heard that Pitch had one too!
"What are your bussinnes?" she asked as soon as they were face to face.

"Uh...I want to go home?" he replied as best as he could. "I would like food? Are those good responses?"
Ok, she's NOT human, he thought as he observed her odor, so what the hayride is she?
He quickly looked around to see if there was anyone else around...and to find a clear path to make a run for it just in case before looking back at Astrid.

"I've something to eat if you want..." she said rummaging in her pocket, she should have some biscuit she stole some time ago. She took them and tendered them to Hogarth, she didn't want to seem danger or something to him. It was better to gain his sympathy than let him go!
"I don't bite!" she laughed watching him.

Hogarth slowly took the biscuit before pretty much shoving it into his mouth like an animal. Usually, he would have just eaten it like a normal human being. But since he wasn't, and since he was so darn hungry, he couldn't help himself.
When he was done, he gave out a small, "...thanks."
Good lord, what the heck is she? he thought, still looking skeptical at her. That strange scent of something 'other' is driving me up a wall...

Astrid smiled as he took the biscuit and ate it, he probably was really hungry to eat it in that way! She looked at him, anything he could be he couldn't stay in the forest! It was a danger for everybody!
"You shouldn't stay in this forest..." she said crossing her arms "Especially if you don't even know where you are and WHO you could meet!"

He then quickly looked over Astrid, realizing that he had to find out who she was. The unknown scent and his curiousity were killing him.

"You're in Orachd!" Astrid looked at him, did he already hear about this land?! Or was he telling the truth?! She shock her head, how could it be?! There was only Orachd and nothing else!
She raised her look at the last words, who she really was?! She smiled "I don't think it's something of your bussinnes..." she pointed at him "Or something you should know..."

...Orachd? Hogarth thought. If I'm hearing that correctly, that word is spelled poorly...either way, a name like Orachd sounds like it should be the name of a happy country, not...wherever I am.
"Orachd, you say," Hogarth questioned. "Are you sure? Seems too dark for a name that sounds bright. And if you won't be fully honest with me then how can I trust you?"
Sure hope that she doesn't try to hurt me... he thought, trying to keep a serious face.
