Mulan was laying in bed the healers of her people were optimistic about her healing properly and being up on her feet snarking at her husband in a few days. She sat up slowly to not open up her wounds any more as she sips at the tea left at her night stand and sees the rose in a vase. Mulan plucks it out and smiles it reminded her of her home, the rose garden there and how she would frolic among them as a child with out a care in the wolrd. When she place it back in the face she replayed the events of the last week still confused on why she stepped in front of an attack on her Prince even though she knew he could take care of himself.

John lightly came in carrying a bouquet of flowers; even if he had not understood Mulan or the reasoning at first- he was slowly beginning to fall for the young Elf. he looked a-little nervous as he peered in lightly,he'd come to replace the single rose with more flowers. He breathed as he turned spotting her in just bandages made him blush a little. she saved his life- and he was to wed her- she was not like another girl. He'd NEVER seen another naked, let a-lone a girl.and this was as close to it as it came."Ahem.''he'd say softly too Mulan."May I come in?"

Mulan squeaked and threw on a silk robe for modesty's sake. Mulan looked up and smiled at the bouquet "You sure know how to woo an Elf my Prince" she said with a blush and giggle. "And yes you can come in we are going to be married we will eventually see each other this manner..." she said before she blossomed as red as the rose in the vase at the very thought of the wedding night. "So did the find the moron who tried attack you John?" she asked softly

Johns eyes closed as he peered in again. his form lightly turned too head inside when he realized she was covered. they hadden't even had their first kiss- he diden't want to ruin that moment. "No, Not yet.''he'd say replacing the Rose gently and adding the boquet of flowers lightly in ."How do you feel is the more important question .''he'd say softly.

Mulan sighed and then looked at John briefly a blush still adorning her cheeks. "My healers say in a few days I will be how do you human's say fit as a fiddle but no strenuous activity which sadly means our daily sword fighting will have be postponed til I get the go ahead but I am sure you won't miss me handing your butt to you on a silver platter" she said with a saucy smirk. Mulan grinned mischievously before stating "Although your butt isn't the only good looking part of you" she said with a wink before a blush over took her again as her confidence took a nose dive. She wasn't really sure how he was going to react that although if he blushed she bet he'd be gorgeous then too.

John canted his head lightly and as soon as she said that, he turned bright pink."Uh.. you look lovely yourself?" he was bad at the flirting part. "I mean as lovely as so-someone would with..long black hair.. almond eyes..uh,''he'd pause"Gorgues facial features..''he'd look at her.his face leaning in lightly- too look into her eyes. his brown locks had been let down for the evening, after all he was in his Pajama pants.his broad chest showing off nicely now.

Mulan of course didn't take the time to see what he was wearing and blushed redder then a tomato at their closeness her mouth suddenly dry. She swallowed as she leaned close as well not sure really what to expect form him. His hair framed his face nice though she though and raised a hand to run it through the brunette strands before placing it on his cheek a little less red but still pretty flustered.
