Victor smiled down at Jamie and gave a small gesture to the moth that still sat on his shoulder. "Then let this be a gift to you, Jamie. That moth on your shoulder is no ordinary moth. It is a creature associated with life and death and therefore is connected to me. If ever you need a friend, all you have to do is tell a Moon Moth and I shall come to help you in any way I can. In this way, you will never be alone again." Victor continued to smile down on Jamie before turning his gaze towards Pitch. "And what kind of being might you be, sir? Your life energy is unlike anything I have met before."

Pitch gazed back at Victor and shock his head before laughing. "Just another demon." he answered shrugging his shoulders. "They call me the Boogeyman, though according to legends, and the nightmare bringer in others." he continued calmly stating. He was very proud of what he was and who he was, nothing was ever going to change that either. He then looked down at Jamie and gave the kid a small glare. Jamie looked up at the glare and took a step back. He then looked at the moth and gave a light smile smiled. Timmy and him were very close and he was grateful for the moth. He was happy and content to have two very special friends, Victor and Timmy the moth. "Thanks." said Jamie lightly. He was grateful to Victor for his gift and was going to remember to talk to moths whenever he was in trouble. It felt comforting to the small boy and for the first time in a long time, he was actually happy.

"Boogeyman..........yes, I have heard of you before." Victor watched the demon closely and could see he was angered that Jamie was happy. Victor took a slight step forward so that he stood close to Jamie and could quickly step in should the Boogeyman decide to do something. "Just a warning to you, but don't try to remove Jamie's happiness. You cannot remove that moth, it is now connected to Jamie. And if you try to kill it, I will know." Victor stared at the dark man with his empty sockets, his mouth set in a grim line. "I have no quarrel with you as of now, but I will not tolerate harm being brought to this boy. Death doesn't fear the dark, after all."

Pitch listened Victor’s babbling on about Jamie and his pet moth. He had plans for Jamie and it didn't matter to him, whether the young boy had a new pet, as long as the young one kept doing what Pitch had instructed and there was still plenty of fear located within the little boy’s heart. However he did see the last part of what Victor said as a threat, but at the same time, had no quarrel with the son of death. “We will see.” He said in a dark way, even this young god of death, has something to fear. He then looked at the young boy again. Jamie looked up at Pitch. He was still afraid of his master, but also still loyal to him. The moth did help to bring comfort and make the little boy partially happier. He was really happy that he had the chance to meet Victor and get to keep Timmy.

Victor stared at Pitch a moment longer, letting his gaze cut a deep silence through the air. If looks could kill, this one might have done so. But after another moment, Victor dropped his gaze to Jamie and gave a toothy grin. "I have offered you all I can to protect you, Jamie. I hope that we may see each other again in the future. Remember, I am your friend and will help you if ever you need it." With that, Victor straightened up and listened to the light breeze that had started up. "I must go now. Spirits are calling to me and I cannot ignore their cries." Victor began to walk away quietly into the darkness, but just as he was about to disappear, he turned back towards Pitch. "I know you think I have fears of my own, and you would be right. But I would remind you that even a creature like yourself has fears too. I can see them, even if you can't."
